Competition proposal for the rehabilitation of the Roquetas de Mar market hall, conceived to reactivate it as a living public space connected to the city.

The central idea is continuity: the envelope of the market stalls extends outward so that the interior and exterior facades become one. Each stall module can be retracted or extended according to the needs of the moment, allowing the market to open fully to the street or close for more contained uses.

The interior maintains a minimal and brutalist character, preserving the existing concrete roof structure and allowing it to speak for itself.
