MB House New build family home O Vicedo, Galicia
MB House is a new build family home designed for a young family in O Vicedo, Galicia, with direct views over the beach and the ría.
The project is organised around a central double-height space that acts as the heart of the home. A staircase and walkway distribute circulation to both sides, with the private areas, three bedrooms, positioned left and right, and the central space reserved for the living room and kitchen, conceived as a single open-plan volume. Large windows connect this main space to the outside and frame the views over the ría de Viveiro.
The sloping terrain is resolved through a series of stepped platforms that allow the full plot to be used comfortably. The outdoor programme includes a small pool and a firepit, completing a proposal that understands the exterior as a natural extension of the home. The incorporation of a two-car garage is also being explored.
